It is through these situations that the enemy tries to manipulate us through the carnal mind using fear, confusion, and torment. He convinces us that our expectation of God and our expectation of life is beyond reach.

Many live a doubleminded life and never escape defeat. To stir up your pure mind is to stir up a mind of faith, righteousness, godliness, and boldness. It is only through a pure mind that we clearly hear the voice of God and walk in the Spirit of God. With this pure mind, we might live as 2 Peter 3:14 states, “the ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”
